Adey Steel Group Have Recently Gain ISO 14001 Certification
ISO14001 is the international standard that specifies the requirements for an environmental management system. It is used by companies across the world to enhance their environmental performance and who want to demonstrate, through 3rd party certification, that their systems and procedures meet the standard. Adey Steel Group has recently been successful in achieving this standard, to sit alongside ISO9001 (Quality) and OSHAS 18001 (H&S).
Gaining certification to ISO14001 proves to customers, employees and other stakeholders that Adey Steel and Steel Shop manage our environmental risks and opportunities to the highest standards. Key aspects of our management system include the management of waste, use of energy, environmental awareness throughout the group and recognises the opportunities we have to enhance our environmental impact, particularly through recycling waste steel and reducing the use of raw materials through good design and efficient production planning.
We are very proud to hold all three certificates; together, they demonstrate the group’s commitment to having a coherent and consistent management system in place in line with our core values of quality, safety and success.
