Grassroots football provides not just physical but mental wellbeing for children so this year has not been the easiest when the country went into Lockdown in March.
However the season re-started slightly later than normal in September and since progressing to 9-a-side format playing in the Leicestershire Foxes League the team has been unbeaten in the league.
Grassroots football however now faces a similar situation where it’s very likely that it will be getting suspended again but all children will stay connected through twice weekly virtual training sessions with their coaches.
