Adey Steel has played a role in the facelift of the popular Burgess Hill train station in West Sussex.
The Loughborough-based specialist steel infrastructure fabricator completed the detailing, fabrication and painting of new Heritage Canopy Masts as part of a redevelopment of the platform canopies at Burgess Hill, which gets over one and half million passengers through its door every year.
A dedicated team of specialist fabricators manufactured a number of Heritage Canopy Masts based on the original cast iron design from 1841. This was achieved through shaping, machining and welding each piece of the structure to a high-quality finish before the paintwork was applied by our specialists in the East Midlands to rail standard N1 for added longevity.
If you would like to discuss a future project with our team, please call Adey Steel on 01509 556677 or email [email protected].
