Specialist steel fabricator Adey Steel has supplied over 500 tonnes of Overhead Line Electrification (OLE) steelwork for the 14-mile Gospel Oak to Barking route in London.
The improvements to the London Overground route on behalf of Transport for London (TfL) were particularly complex due to the space constraints caused by the existing Victorian infrastructure resulting in frequent design changes by the team at Adey Steel.
Adey Steel, which is headquartered in Loughborough, supplied a whole range of Series 2 OLE steelwork including:
- STC masts
- TTC masts
- TTC Booms
- Portal Boom
- DC Masts
