Early 2025 marked the completion of a key infrastructure upgrade near M1 Junctions 16-35, featuring 11 new overhead gantries, plus 2 refurbishments designed to improve traffic management and motorway safety.
Each gantry boasts a steel package weighing 10.4 tonnes, reflecting the robust engineering standards applied throughout the project. The structures were installed with precision to ensure both durability and minimal disruption to ongoing motorway operations.
