Adey Steel Wins 1st Phase of Transpennine Route Upgrade and Electrification
Adey Steel are very pleased to be supporting VolkerRail and Network Rail on the first phase of the Transpennine Route Upgrade by providing OLE structures between York and Church Fenton.
The 400 OLE structures, whose raw material is sourced predominantly from UK steel mills will shortly begin production in our fabrication shops before being installed early in 2021. This contract award marks an exciting period of levelling up of investment to our national rail infrastructure network.
Adey Steel continue to support multiple Electrification and Rail Inrfastructure projects across the UK network, providing detailing, fabrication, protective finsihes, assembly and installation services to our customers across the sector.
