Adey Steel fabricated and installed two feature link bridges to Embassy Gardens redevelopment adjacent to the American Embassy in London. The two long span bridges joined adjacent buildings providing pedestrian and vehicular access at levels 2 and 10.
The simplistic design led to slim sections and sleek parapet details with integrated floor downlighting, the compact site environment meant night shift installations and meticulous crane planning leading to slick site activities and on time programmes. Prior to site activity the bridges were fully trial assembles at the Adey Steel facility to ensure exact fit up, the parapet balustrades were also fitted off-site after paint finishing to ensure minimal activity was carried out on site.
The redevelopment of this site has received much acclaim for its simplistic design and nod to its industrial past, further phases of the site are expected to be completed in the coming months.
