Adey Steel has supplied the majority of the steelwork for a modern BioEnergy and materials handling plant in Bedfordshire. This is a significant contract to supply proven biomass combustion and fuel handling solutions into the market
The scope of works was not solely manufacture, but also designing elements of the structures in house. The work also included a complex 10 tonne Combustion Furnace and full assembly of the components to allow a quick installation on site. In addition, all the supporting structures and access equipment were also manufactured.
This local site has proved great for logistical planning and liaising with site managers to ensure the products are getting there exactly when required to suit the sensitive site programme.
