Adey Steel Group furry friends raise £135 for Movember
The Adey Steel Group has raised over £130 for Movember.
A small team consisting of Andrew Adey, Ethan Knott and Stephen Wright from the Loughborough-based steel fabrication infrastructure specialist spent November cultivating their upper lip furry friends to raise awareness as well as funds to continue the work of Movember. Together they raised £135.
Founded in 2003, Movember has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services support men.
Andrew Adey, Managing Director of the Adey Steel Group, said: “Every year too many men across the UK die before their time from prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide.
“So, a small group of us at the Adey Steel Group decided we wanted to show our solidarity by growing moustaches throughout November to help raise awareness of the work done by Movember not just in the UK but around the world.”
Andrew Adey added: “We’re extremely grateful to absolutely everyone who supported this great cause and made a donation.”
