Adey Steel passes Integrated Management Systems audit
Adey Steel has successfully completed its Integrated Management System (IMS) audit.
The Loughborough-based steel fabrication infrastructure specialist has over the last two years evolved its IMS into a unified and comprehensive system combining H&S, quality and environment, better fitting the integrated approach represented in the three ISO standards.
And the auditors were delighted with the processes that have been put in place by the team at the 99-year-old family-owned-and-managed company, which operates across the energy, engineering, rail and road infrastructure sectors in the UK.
“We’re delighted with the results of our recent IMS audit,” explained Robert Hall, Operations Director at Adey Steel. “Our auditors also highlighted a number of best practices across the business, such as our Process Mapping, use of Dynamics 365 and the roll out of Digital Noticeboards, which was particularly pleasing and testament to the hard work that has been put in by the whole team at Adey Steel.”
This news comes only a matter of weeks after Adey Steel achieved Cyber Essentials certification for a fifth successive year.
Adey Steel also holds accreditation to ISO 9001 Quality Management, BS EN 1090 CE Marking to Execution Class 3, BS EN ISO 3834 Quality Requirements of Fusion Welding and RISQS Rail Supplier Qualification. The company is also members of the BCSA and Steel Construction Institute. For a full list of Adey Steel accreditations click here.
