Specialist steel fabricator Adey Steel has completed the manufacture, supply and install of a feature link bridge at the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.
The 100-metre structure acts as a link from the NET tram plaform to the second floor of the world-famous hospital. It was curved with a slight fall and stands eight metres off the ground.
The feature link bridge was supported by CHS 'tree columns' and fully enclosed with a curved perspex roof and supporting roof straps. It also incorporated feature steel and glass balustrades running the full length of the bridge.
