Adey Steel has manufactured and installed two feature link bridges as part of the Embassy Gardens development in Central London.
Located in the heart of Nine Elms, and next to the gleaming new United States embassy building, Embassy Gardens is best known for its iconic Sky Pool, which is suspended 115 feet above ground level, and which allows residents to swim between the buildings.
The two long-span bridges fabricated by Adey Steel were designed to provide pedestrian and vehicular access for Embassy Gardens residents at two seperate levels while their simplistic design allowed for slim sections and sleek parapet details with integrated floor downlighting.
Prior to the installation, the two link span bridges were trial assembled at the 100,000 sq ft Adey Steel facility in Loughborough to ensure exact fit-up together while the parapet balustrades were also fitted to ensure minimal activity was carried out on site.
