Adey Steel has designed, manufactured and supplied a new Conveyor Bridge to a Cemex quarry in Scotland.
One of the UK's largest indpendent specialist steel infrastructure fabricators, Adey Steel rose to the challenge of creating a 77-metre bridge that could comfortably span a large quarry pool on the site.
The Conveyor Bridge was constructed in five sections, together with supporting trestle structures, using both RSA and UC steel, by a dedicated team based at Adey Steel's headquarters in Loughborough. It was then painted with a coat of primer / undercoat before a gloss finish in 'Moorland Green' was added, prior to being cladded and then delivered to site by the team from Adey Steel.
