Adey Steel has completed the installation of a rail footbridhge at Earlswood.
The footbridge, which was manufactured by Adey Steel at the company's purpose-built 10,000sq metre headquarters in Loughborough prior to its supply and installation on the outskirts of the Warwickshire village, was painted on the internal faces and left as weathering steel on the external faces to minimise disruption of painting repairs over the track in future years.
It was also fabricated to the strict requirements of Network Raol specifications, with all welding carried out under EN 1090 and ISO 3834 accreditations.
Adey Steel has extensive experience of supplying footbridges to clients throughout the UK. It installed a similiar footbridge at Oakengates Station in Shropshire and also provided a single span bridge as part of the Gooseholme Footbridge project in Kendal. The latter had been washed away during Storm Desmond in 2015.
